Japanese Wooden Chopsticks Set - 5 Pairs Reusable Utensils for Sushi, Noodles & Rice Bowls

Lots of imperfections and paint seems cheap but cute for the priceI can use them very well it's a little hard for my husband his hands are bigger and they are very slim have to be precise with them not for beginnersI myself am still learning how to use chopsticks, and got tired of the cheap wooden ones that come in paper bags for a one time use. These are some sturdy chopsticks and are easy to wash, use, and clean. The fact that you get five pairs in one box is wonderful, you can share them if you have a family. Highly recommend.Been using these for a variety of foods (fried rice, pho mainly) and cleaning regularly before and after every use.Super easy to handle, smooth in the hands but not slippery, pretty design, holds up to time. I'm still on the first pair and they're still great.After quite a bit of use, this single pair shows little difference from a brand new pair. There's a bit of a textural difference, most likely due to me being a thorough muncher and somewhat idle biter. (Yea don't worry, I keep these on my person, so noone else has to handle them)I RECOMMEND.First off, Iam very satisfied with these chopsticks. Bad luck happens, but one stick broke almost immediately on first use an inch from the end. Ive used them all now quite a few times so I consider that an uncontrollable flaw from the manufacturer. The finish is fantastic and has held up beautifully so far. I understand that when you work with wood there can easily be hidden flaws. I mainly mention the negative so others with similar experiences may think about it before potentially posting a one star review for an otherwise great product.Edit: I wrote the above last weekend. The seller has already contacted me, apologized profusely, and offered to replace the broken chopstick. I'm satisfied that after six weeks or so of regular use, that is still the only flaw or failure. Save your shipping money guys, the gesture is enough for me. I also read some of the reviews stating these are not made of real wood. I should note that while not amending the above, I can't say these are made of wood. My wife was using the one that broke and I can't say I looked at it closely at that time. Anyway, still love 'em.Item just as described and arrived quickly.Just received my set and they are decent but not as good of quality as I was hoping. Had a bent set in my box. Also, the lacquer used on these make the sticks so slick in your hand it's hard to control them so they slip.Update 6/6/19: Ordered a replacement of just the solid wood (B wood chopsticks) and they don't slide and are easy to use compared to the floral ones. However, this set also had bent chopsticks but even worse of a bend this time (black pair in pic). Poor quality control from this company. Returning.Update 7/3/19: Upgraded my rating from a 2 star to 4 stars because of the great customer service. I was contacted by the company and offered a no extra cost replacement in which all the chopsticks arrived in perfect condition.Love these. We order sushi/Chinese food often. With the pandemic we often were not getting chopsticks with our meal, so decided to get these. Love that they are way to clean. They are a little longer than I was used to but works great all the same. I do put them in the dishwasher with no issues.Not sure they are safe to be used anymore, since the dye or paint coming off from lower part of the chopsticks soon after the first wash with dish washing liquid and warm water, then, every time after wash, the paint on the bottom part that touches food has discoloring problem more and more, I can see the lighter wood color now and very concern over using them for food again, so, have to throw them away.Nice looking chopsticks. It was unfortunate that one chopstick has the design applied upside down. It makes the set look slightly odd. As long as all five pairs are not in use at the same time, it may not matter. But it was for a gift and attention to detail matters.Elles sont très belles, mais elle glisse beaucoup, je ne suis pas expert en matière de baguette et dont je ne suis pas la meilleur pour être habile à bien les tenir, mais je trouve qu'elle glisse beaucoup contrairement à des baguette en boit un peu plus carré. Celle-ci sont trop ronde.I found those chopsticks too small for my taste. I am not talking lengthwise (although I wish they would have been longer, I did read the description, so I knew what I would get), but the thickness of the chopsticks, mainly on the side that grips food, is way too thin and slippery, which makes it very difficult to eat noodles with them. It is OK for eating sushi or very sticky rice.The packaging for this is beautiful. The chopsticks are beautiful. They are exactly what I wanted. I like a narrow tipped chopstick, and I wanted something aesthetically pleasing. This achieved both of those goals.My only frustration was that it took just shy of a full month for these to arrive by mail (I am in southern Ontario). But, now that I have them, I am glad that I waited.
