UNNY Mood Eyeshadow Palette - 5 Pigmented Matte & Shimmer Colors for Daily & Party Makeup

I'm actually very surprised at this palette! To anyone who doesn't know Korean eyeshadow isn't suppose to be highly pigmented as they tend to go for softer looks, unlike western makeup where we thrive on the pigmentation of a palette! With that in mind I decided to try this palette out. I was highly surprised, the pigmentation in the palette is amazing (for Korean eyeshadow). I decided to do a test on one eye with no eyeshadow base instead of doing a swatch and then compared it to the other eye with no makeup on. I'm black/mixed, I am more of a medium brown colour (caramel if you will) and all five colours showed on my skin. I wasn't expecting the mattes to really show but they did and the shimmers are beautiful. I would use this type of palette as an everyday look if I am just using the mattes but I could get a nice going out look on if I cut the crease and had on a eyeshadow base/primer. If you are of darker complexion I would say you could try this if you use a eyeshadow base. Again if you are thinking of getting this product you cannot compare it to western makeup as the concepts are very different. I would recommend, especially to anyone who loves makeup and is looking for something to try!I was excited to try this one and given the price, I expected it to be better than it was. I liked the different themes and thought Daily Mood would be perfect for me for daily use. It does have pretty shades in them, but they could use more pigment.They are easy to build up. I don't find them as easy to blend. I find when I have used the pallet I have ended up with a muddy looking result each time no matter how much I previously blended the last shade or cleaned my brushes.The colours are decent though, especially the glitters, but the champagne glitter will follow you around for days after you wash your face. I had very little fallout from all shadows though.If I could go back and pick again, I think I'd get 02 Spring Mood.I can't really recommend this one. It is okay, but something I'd say is more in the range of $10 or so.I received the IM UNNY mood player 5 color palette in the option "01. Daily Mood" The palette and colors are accurate to the listing photographs.The colors are very soft and not very pigmented at all, they go on very light. The brightest one was the sparkly one. They are soft shadows, they do blend well but just using the shimmer I ended up squatting it and making a bit of a mess.You would definitely need to use a light color or a primer to prime the lids before applying this shadow if you are looking for a more bold look and you will need to build it up.I do like it for a light every day look when I am not looking to wear much makeup. It is a little pricy for such a small palette and only 5 colors.I'm usually quite sensitive to make-up, and was skeptical about purchasing a brand I was not familiar with, however, I was willing to give it a try.As well, I'm trying to be mindful about not buying makeup in cases that can't be recycled. I always feel really guilty about throwing more plastic into the garbage.I'm pleased thus far with this palette, Not only are the shades nice, and stay on well, they are in packaging that is recyclable.Also, this is the second day of wearing the makeup and no allergic reaction.I also like the price point, it is reasonable and affordable. Most makeup palettes are grossly overpriced.I will purchase from this company again.This is a great quality powder eyeshadow pallet. I chose the autumn color pallet and it is beautiful. The colors are soft yet saturated with a finely milled texture which is highly blendable. As a professional make up artist/ beauty advisor I have used many different make up brands, IM UNNY is definitely a decent quality brand. There is no eyeshadow brush/ sponge applicator included which is exactly how it should be, a seperate good quality eyeshadow brush should be used to get proper application and a eyeshadow prep base should be worn underneath for the best look possible . Im very happy with this pallet and the beautiful glitter shades included. I will definitely buy from this company again.
